Great food, very friend crew. There's a review on here that made a bad review that the employees don't speak English. That's a complete lie. Yes a lot of them have accents but they speak English very well. The person who made that review is against anyone that has an accent and isn't blonde. Anyways, my husband and I always come here for yummy food.
MoreVisited a couple times and ordered the beef bulgogi both times. It's pretty great and is priced well. The people who work here are friendly. Will be going back soon 👍
MoreThis place is really good! I love the breakfast, and it's really fast. I call ahead for the chicken teriyaki, and it's just delicious!
MoreVariety of options available for both breakfast and lunch at a reasonable price. I particularly like their tuna wrap with honey mustard. So many condiments to pick from. Their Korean mixed rice bowl with bulgogi dish is also popular.
MoreHaving to work Saturdays in Arlington makes it hard to find good food.. IHOP doesn't count... I love the food, service, and pricing here! And it's clean too! Thanks guys- I would recommend the Sausage Egg & Cheese BLT with Avocado on Rye... Not on the menu but it's a great sandwich. -AJ
MoreCustomized sushi at no additional cost. Excellent use of interior space makes it seem bigger than it is. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.
MoreHad the combo bulgogi. Tasty and nicely priced. Appears to have quite a few sandwich items at good prices. Nice place to get a quick bite to eat. Friendly staff.
MoreGreat place for breakfast and lunch. I have been here multiple times, the service is friendly and fast. If there is a line then it may take a little of a wait for your food. The Ramon noodles are just that. Do not think of Pho when ordering the Ramon noodles. This is totally different then Pho if you are a Pho fan.
MoreFriendly service and tasty, freshly prepared food. The gyro was very good with nicely grilled lamb, crisp lettuce, cucumber, feta cheese, and tomato on a toasted pita. My wife's reuben was also very tasty.
MoreFast, friendly, and convenient. The sandwiches are OK, but the bulgogi is da bomb.
MoreHad the bulgogi with a side of kimchi for lunch. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It's a great lunch for a reasonable price.
MoreI look forward to going back. Great bagel with lox and lavazza drip coffee. What more u need...
Moremikes is in a great location and has outdoor seating in the shade which is a rare treat in ballston. Their $6 bimbop deal is super and their sandwiches are pretty good. It gets crazy at lunch time
MoreThe people are hard-working and efficient. The food is great and reasonably priced.I have had several different sandwiches, a soup or two, and breakfast burritos. Everything was great.
MoreFriendly staff, tasty food, decent pricing, who can ask for more.
Great deli with lots of options. Friendly, quick staff. You can be out with your order in 10 minutes even when they're busy. They also have a few Korean options in don't to try.
MoreI had the breakfast burrito which was worth a 4-5 star rating. I got a side of bacon that was poor quality. Food was prepped pretty quick and the seating is informal.
MoreI am visiting Arlington for 2 weeks, I found Mike's Cafe on Google Places. All I can say is, great Fresh food, and wonderful welcoming service. It's like being in a mom and pop diner in a small town, only right in the middle of high rise condos and businesses . 5 stars easily
MoreHad ordered the spicy ramen with the California roll. The sushi was good and the ramen was so so. It was very expensive for the amount and quality of food
MoreI love coming here after picking up my kids from school. Because, they have the best atmosphere and my kids love getting the egg soup. They have authentic taste
MoreGreat deli with a large menu to choose from.
Food is fantastic but wait times were excessive and staff seemed disorganized.
Great place for lunch bento boxes/Korean food
My favorite spot in Ballston to grab a quick breakfast or lunch because fast, delicious and they have a huge menu. Also the best Chai I've had in this area yet!
MoreNo one here speaks much english. Thats why the orders are often wrong. I've ordered the same items and always get charged a different price. Typical problems for foreign owned restaurant/cafe.
MoreHad the poke bowl, very yummy and the perfect portion!
Excellent place for a sandwich and/or soup. The freshest ingredients are used and they even slice the turkey right there for you - Amazing! My go to place for lunch.
MoreFood was good. Service was fast.
Tokyo Pork Ramen <3
Great place for sandwiches.
Good breakfast options
Love their Tofu Bibi box, absolutely delicious tofu sauce. This is a treat when I am able to stop by in the day to get food from here. Always look forward to it. The staff is kind and professional, I just wish I could get the food for dinner!
MoreGreat place for cheap, fast breakfast or lunch! Convenient, quality food, nice little atmosphere. Friendly staff. Worth it.
MoreBack in town again. Super great breakfast for a low price.
Excellent service, friendly staff, and great quality food for a good price. Mikes is a consistently good option for lunch everyday!
MoreOne of the favorites of the NSF crowd across the street. Breakfast and lunch. Try the bebimbop...my personal favorite.
MoreFresh salads, Delicious sushi and a friendly staff 👍
Pretty ok place for work lunch. If you're getting sandwich, pick your ingredients carefully. Some are fresh (avocados) some aren't (olives). Ramen bowl tasted great but the portion worth half what I paid. Sushi rice doesn't look right to me so I don't even try it. I usually go for beef bulgogi bowl with fried egg.
MoreThey don't have trash can outside.
Best turkey melt evah! I'm not really a sandwich person and try to avoid starchy carbs but if I'm going to indulge in it I go straight to Mike's. They make a fresh turkey daily for these sandwiches which is awesome. So no nasty turkey cold cuts here. The breads are super fresh and tasty. The sandwich has avocado which I love and two types of cheese. The place doesn't look like much but come inside and you will be happy. The folks that work there are super sweet as well.
MoreHad the combo bulgogi. Tasty and nicely priced. Appears to have quite a few sandwich items at good prices. Nice place to get a quick bite to eat. Friendly staff.
MoreGreat food made fast & fresh. I tried both the sushi & the combo bowl, & both were full of flavor, with great texture.
MoreGreat for breakfast. Wish they would serve it past 10 AM on the weekends however.
MoreFor years I have been a weekly (sometimes daily) customer of Mike’s Cafe in Ballston, Arlington. Their food is consistently delicious, top quality ingredients, clean, and extremely friendly staff and owner. Whenever I’m hungry for an easy and satisfying meal, I can always count on Mike’s Cafe!!
MoreI go there mostly because of breakfast.
This place is great. Mike and his employees are always very pleasant and welcoming. All of the food is fresh and delicious. The prices are low as well. You really can't go wrong with anything you get from Mike's.
MoreI come here almost every morning to get breakfast.Nice people. I highly recommend this place !They're very efficient and fast.
MoreThe only reason it's not 1-star is because the food is great -- when you can actually get it. I've now been 3 times, and have attempted to go numerous times. Ignore how I've showed up the Mike's being closed around noon on a Tuesday, or dinner time on a Friday (real-life examples). When you actually can find it open, pray they have what you want. The first time I went I got hands-down the best sandwich I've had in Ballston, and raved to it to my roommates. The next times? No chicken, no bread, no wraps, no lettuce, etc etc etc. So good luck finding it open, and I hope you actually have the chance to eat some of there food. However, it has been removed from my friend group's viable options of places to eat.
MoreUsed to come here for years and loved it. Then they literally cut the meat portions for the sandwiches from about 6 ounces to 3 ounces. They told me this specifically when I stood there looking at my bare sandwich. Anyhow, if you'd like to pay more than you were paying before for half the product and be hungry 3 hours later, go for it.
MoreThis is the go-to breakfast spot for the area. For just a regular breakfast. I got a western omelette with pumpernickel toast. Amazing. Next day ordered a breakfast sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese on a Kaiser roll. Amazing. If you dig a good breakfast, this is the spot.
